Steven E. Conrad Jr ended his health struggle October 12, 2022. He peacefully passed at home with his family, and his loyal dog, Willow by his side.

He grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and moved to Hixton in the early 1990s, but he never let that city spirit leave him and would never pass up the chance for an Italian beef sandwich.

He is survived by his loving wife Pamela, daughter Samantha (Ryan Mendez) and son, Erick (Ashly Conrad), two grandchildren, Evey and Ezra Mendez, and many more loving family members.

Always the adventurer, he and Pam loved to travel. They enjoyed many cruises in the Caribbean, Alaska, and always found time to visit their favorite places, Mexico and Las Vegas.  He refused to let his health impact his need to see the world and enjoy nature. He was always ready for that next perfect camping spot or the opportunity to head to a baseball game. Go Brewers!

His adventurous spirit lives on in the memories of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A celebration of life is planned for November 6, 2022 at the Black River American Legion from 2pm-4pm.
