Obituary for Roger Leon Omernik

It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of Roger Leon Omernik on July 3rd, 2022. Born March 24, 1946 to Victor and Lucille Omernik.

He went to school in the Rosholt school district. He enlisted and was honorably discharged from the Army National Guards in 1967. He worked and retired at Copps Company. A Father of two daughters Donna and Tammy. He married Cindy Wierzba in 1981 and enjoyed 34 years together until her passing in 2016. He donated a kidney to his daughter in 1994 and cherished the time spent family, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed building his homes, hunting, biking, and walking the fields looking for arrowheads. He was always working on something. He had country ingenuity, a creative mind, and a talent for telling stories with a great sense of humor. He loved to joke and laugh with everyone he met.
He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by daughter; Donna (Rick) Nelson grandsons, Evan, Aaron, and Nathan; Brothers, Bill (Carol) Omernik Hank (Teresa) Omernik Hilary (Chris) Omernik Randy (Karen) Omernik Vic (Korine) Omernik Mother in-law; Romaine Wierzba Brothers and Sister in-laws; Randy, Jolynn, Gary, Angela Marcie, Tim, Julie, Randy and many nieces and nephews.
Pre-deceased by wife Cindy, daughter Tammy, parents, Victor and Lucille Omernik, Grandparents, Father In-law Julian; and sister-in-law Jenny.

Funeral services will be held July 23, 2022 at St. Ladislaus Church, Bevent WI
Visitation at 9:00 A.M. Mass at 11:00 A.M. Luncheon under the church to follow.
