Nancy Ann Gubasta, age 77 of Cannon Falls, MN, formerly of Cameron, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.  Not once, did she lose her sense of humor or kindness to others.

Nancy was born on March 30, 1945 in Cumberland to the late Raymond and Florence Ross.  She graduated from Turtle Lake High School in 1965 and married Lee Gubasta in 1969.  Together, they had 2 beautiful daughters, Melissa and Angela.  Nancy and Lee later divorced.

She lived in Rice Lake and Cameron most of her life, working at McCane in Rice Lake for 30 years.  Nancy enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafts, collecting miniature knick-knacks, landscaping, painting, fishing and watching Jeopardy.  But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Nancy was a beautiful soul and will be truly missed.  Her family adored her.

She is survived by daughters: Melissa Wohlfeil of Cannon Falls, Mn and Angela Gubasta of New Richmond, WI; 3 grandchildren: Britain, Mitchell and Amelia; and her sister Judy of Barron.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Raymond and Florence, and her brother Gordon Ross.

Nancy’s wishes are to have no services, just remember me and smile.
