Obituary for Janet Marie Filipiak
Janet M. Filipiak, age 76 of Stanley, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. She was born on December 19, 1945 in Chippewa Falls to Frank and Anna Filipiak.
She went to a one room school house and then graduated from the Stanley High School. Janet and her brother Bob ran the family farm. Janet went back to school, graduated with a Registered Nursing Degree, and then worked at the Marshfield Hospital in Marshfield for the next 22 years.
Janet was a caring and loving person who liked helping others. She enjoyed the wildlife at the farm, especially feeding the birds. Janet loved her children and had some great adventures with them. She liked road trips and beautiful views, visiting national parks in Utah, South Dakota and Wyoming.
She is survived by her two children: David Rudawski and Ann Rudawski.
Preceding her in death are her parents and her brother Bob Filipiak.
A memorial mass is being planned and will be posted as soon as the date is set.
