Obituary for Goldean "Dee" Poss (Whitney)
Goldean (Dee) Poss, of Altoona, passed away at Prairie Point Rehab Center on May 18, 2022 at the age of 88.
Dee was born on September 26, 1933 to Lois and George Whitney in Ludington WI, the four of eight girls.
She is survived by a daughter Claudette (Marty) Martin of Rice Lake; four sisters: Emily Henning of Columbus, Mayfred Whitney of Eau Claire, Bonnie Whitney of Eau Claire and Jeanette Ives of Green Bay; and many nieces and nephews.
Life was being able to play bingo every week. She loved the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Poss; her parents and three sisters; Pauleine Webber Eau Claire, Lila Stenseth Eau Claire and Wanda Vonaster of Menominee Falls.
A celebration of life will be held at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona on June 7, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. with visitation from 1:00-2:30.
