Jerry Boettcher passed away peacefully the morning of May 24th, 2023 alongside his loving wife Gertrude, son Glen (Margaret) Boettcher, and daughter Gayle (Steve) MacDonald.



Jerry and Trudy owned and operated “Trudy’s Drive In” for 25 years in West Allis Wisconsin. They retired to their home on Horn Lake in Townsend, Wisconsin where they lived for 43 years. Jerry loved nature and his privacy.



He also loved basketball, gardening, reading, raising animals to share with his family, and fishing with his dear friends.  Perhaps more than anything he enjoyed spending time with his children Glen, (Margaret), Gayle, (Steve), grandchildren Tom and Tyler Powers, Lucas (Meg) Boettcher, Anna (Mike) Boedeker, great grandchildren Penelope and Elle Boedeker and baby Jerry Powers.



He created a beautiful peaceful life for himself and his lovely wife Trudy of 69 years. Jerry had a positive impact on those fortunate to know him.



Jerry would say “Home is home”, Jerry has gone home.
