Obituary for Faye Ellen Panetti (Cox)

Faye E. Panetti, age 88, passed away peacefully into the hands of our Lord and Savior on November 18th, at Inter-Faith Care Center in Carlton, Mn. Faye was born on May 19th, 1934, to the late Arthur and Agnus Cox. She was raised on a farm near Spooner, Wisconsin, attending rural schools. Graduating from Spooner High School and the University of Wisconsin, Superior with a degree in teaching. Eventually Earning her Masters degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 1959. 

While starting her teaching career in Bruce, Wisconsin, Faye met the Love of her life Bob Panetti.  Faye and Bob married and moved to Silver Bay, MN in 1957, they were married for over 61 years. In the early years of their marriage,  Faye taught in Silver Bay. Before starting a family they enjoyed years of the Northern Minnesota outdoors remotely fishing and Hunting while also meeting a host of life long friends. They did everything together over the years. Faye took great enjoyment and pride in her home and family. Their Lifelong love of gardening lasted well into their retirement. Anyone that knew Faye also knew of her great sense of humor and her kind and generous heart. Faye had two sons, Robert Jr. and William. She was also blessed with 9 wonderful grandchildren that she enjoyed immensely every waking moment. Faye had 9 great grandchildren as well. 

Faye is preceded in death by her Husband Bob. Her Parents, her mother and father in law, Bessie and Walter. Also her Brother Donald. 

Faye is survived by her sons Robert (Laura), William (Stacey); Grandchildren: Hunter (Kirsten), Gabrielle (Garrett), Holden (Gabrielle), Chase (Bailey), Taylor, Alecia (Jack), Josh (Katy), Trevor (Adre), Taylor (Arron), Great Grandchildren: Finley, Waylon, Silas, Vivian, Dominick, Lainey, Mason, Westen, Kaden.

A memorial for Faye will be held at Inter-Faith Care Center in Carlton MN, on Thursday, December 1st, at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers or gifts please send donations to St Judes Childrens Hospital.  

 

Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona is assisting the family with arrangements..
