Elizabeth “Betty” Joy Asp passed away on Monday March 13, 2023 at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Bloomer. Betty was born in Amery, WI on January 6, 2023 to Herbert Asp and Helen Sufka (Myhre). She spent most of her childhood in the Amery area.

Betty spent her adult life in the Eau Claire area. She was a loving mother to her daughter Trisha. Trisha was the world to Betty and she did everything she could with her. Betty also enjoyed completing puzzles and the outdoors.

Betty is survived by her brother: Tyrone Asp; her step-daughters: Marsha (Brian) Cole and Debbie Wedlund; many nieces and nephews; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Trisha J. Asp; parents Herbert Asp and Helen (Myhre) Sufka; Step-dad: Albert Sufka; and sisters: Linda Potter and Sharon Kahl

Services will be held at 3pm on Friday April 14, 2023 at Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Eau Claire. Visitation will be from 2pm until time of service. The family asks that all flowers be send to the church for the service and that all cards be sent to the Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona.
