Daniel Duane Hatleli

On December 16, 2022, Dan passed away peacefully at his home.

Daniel was born on February 19, 1963, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He attended school in Augusta, Wisconsin and graduated from Augusta High School in 1982.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie Gilbert and Raymond Hatleli, Stepfather Roy Gilbert, sister Danita Roberts, and brother Raymond (Skeeter) Hatleli Jr.

Dan is survived by 8 siblings, Rhonda (William) Iversen, Jocelyn (Lenny) Hatleli, Randy Hatleli, Kelly (DiAnna) Hatleli, Tim Hatleli, Tony (Cathy) Hatleli, Blane Hatleli, and Kendra Hatleli; his niece Lisa Tichey who helped take care of him; and also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dan loved his independence and driving around town. He always enjoyed working for Hayes Specialties and at the Career Development Center.  In his youth and as a young adult he was active in Special Olympics and Barrier Busters. 

He will be truly missed by all who loved him. 

There will be a celebration of life held at the VFW Post 305, 1300 Starr Avenue, Eau Claire, Wisconsin on January 13 from 4-7pm.
