It’s impossible to compress almost 98 years of a life well lived into a few words. Betty was a daughter to Casper and Clara Dahlby. She was a sister to Chet and Ken. She was the adored wife of Don for over 68 years. She was mom to Paul, Tim, Brenda, and Todd. She was grandma to 5 kids and great grandma to 7. She was an aunt. She was a friend. She was an expert knitter and sewer, many family members have pieces of her work. She never missed her kid’s games, concerts, or other activities. In recent years, she never missed a Brewers game. She loved traveling with her dear niece Sharon. She guided the Hangartner family ship for four generations. We couldn’t have had a better captain.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 17, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service. Burial to follow at Forrest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire.
